Reviews

Per-paper tracking of peer-review activity: reviewer concerns, point-by-point actions taken, and what actually changed in the manuscript between submission and each revision round. Reviewer comments are summarised and paraphrased in the tables; the verbatim text from the journal decision letters is available at the bottom of each page in collapsible blocks.

Status at a glance

Paper Journal Round Reviewers Items Status Deadline
J2 Ocean Engineering R2 3 19 In progress (3 of 19 in progress, 16 open) 2026-04-29
J3 Ocean Engineering R1 3 18 All 18 closed — cover letter drafted 2026-05-06

How this tab is organised

Each paper page follows the same structure:

  1. Header block — journal, revision round, submission and deadline dates, overall status.
  2. Progress bar + next steps — segmented progress bar at the top, followed by the specific next actions (day-by-day for J2; remaining pre-submission work for J3; V&V commissions for V).
  3. Editor summary — one paragraph on what the decision letter said.
  4. Per-reviewer comments — paraphrased concern, target location in the manuscript (with clickable anchor link into the matching Papers page), planned or completed action, and coloured status badge.
  5. Cross-cutting themes — where the same concern appears in multiple reviewers, or where the fix is shared across papers (J2 and J3 share several citations and boilerplate).
  6. Change log — section-by-section list of what was added, modified, or clarified. For J3, this is complete; for J2, it is growing as R2 work proceeds.
  7. Raw reviewer comments — verbatim text at the bottom in collapsible admonitions.

How this tab relates to the rest of the site

  • Home — dated working notes (gap analysis, claim-driven workflow, methodology prototypes).
  • Papers — one page per paper with research question, manuscript outline, contributions, portfolio flow.
  • Reviews — review-cycle tracking for the three papers currently under peer review or resubmission.

When the same paper is referenced across tabs, each tab carries the slice that matters for the question being asked. "What does J2 argue?" — read Papers / J2. "Where does J2 sit in the portfolio arc?" — read the gap-analysis note. "What did the reviewers ask for and what has been done?" — read Reviews / J2.

Consolidation note (V1 + V2 → V)

The V1 / V2 split that previously occupied two rows in the status table above was consolidated on 2026-04-18 into a single paper V targeting Engineering Structures. The Reviews / V page carries the full decision rationale, the trade-off analysis, and the resulting unified MSSP response plan.
